Dancers in our recreational programs are provided with the highest quality training in a fun, friendly environment. All of our recreational staff members are certified and trained in their field of dance and we do not use any students of dance to teach our recreational students. While all dancers dance for different reasons, dancers who participate in our recreational dance classes will leave with valuable life skills. Students will benefit from social interactivity, discipline, confidence, posture, physical fitness and creativity. Our faculty features motivating instructors who will ensure that every dancer is challenged and has the opportunity to reach their personal potential.
This program is designed for those who are uncertain about the full time commitment but wish to compete. With fewer hours of training this level gives the student a taste of competitive dance and an option to decide whether or not full time is the right choice for them. Students in the Part-Time Program wishing to move to the Full-Time program must book an audition.
Our Competitive program is designed to truly challenge and inspire those serious about dance. This program offers intense conditioning, technical training, choreography and personal attention. The aim of our competitive program is to provide students with the highest quality dance education from only the best instructors and choreographers. Students gain the technique they need through concentratedtraining in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro/Tumbling and Musical Theatre.
Although the focus is on giving students the best and most versatile technique, the skills learned in this program have proven to be valuable life lessons that continue to benefit the students in all career choices. Self-discipline, self-expression, responsibility and time management are only some of the qualities students will learn at EDC.
All Levels are built on ability, technique, personality, and above all, work ethic. Our competitive dancers train an average of 6-9 hrs per week.
