Jasmine began dancing at the age of three in London, Ontario. She studied varying styles of dance, including jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical and acro. Jasmine competed all across Canada from the age of ten to fourteen. At fourteen, Jasmine attended Canada’s National Ballet School and graduated in the year of 2014. She was a recipient of one of five graduation awards/scholarships. While studying ballet, she began practicing yoga to help with her conditioning to avoid injuries. She fell in love with the calm, yet strengthening practice.
Upon graduating, Jasmine continued to train in the Post-Secondary Program at Canada’s National Ballet School, which led to working in Europe for five years. She also attended San Francisco Ballet School during the summer of 2014, and worked as a guest artist in Semperoper Dresden in Germany. She took classes with the Royal Danish Ballet, Dortmund Theatre, the Vienna State Opera and accepted an offer with the Romanian National Ballet in Bucharest as a soloist.
While dancing with The Romanian National Ballet, she danced in classics such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, La Bayadere, and Sleeping Beauty. Whilst a professional ballerina, Jasmine began teaching dance to all ages and levels.
During the pandemic, she became a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports and Sciences Association as well as a Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition. Jasmine looks forward to teaching at Extreme Dance Connection, where she hopes she can encourage students to be the best dancers they can be, while they inspire her daily.
